OVERVIEW
- Headquartered in Iowa (U.S), Principal Financial Group is a global financial investment management and insurance company.
- The client was looking for a vendor to validate, design, tuning, document and transfer the knowledge of their existing Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2012 R2 Exchange 2013 Management Pack environment.
- Principal engaged with People Tech with a primary objective of understanding the present system setup and tuning it to improve business operations.
SOLUTION PROVIDED BY PEOPLE TECH GROUP
- People Tech performed the following activities:
- Assisted the Exchange team at Principal to validate and the Exchange 2013 Monitoring MP.
- Provided a health check for the principal SCOM environment.
- Validated the Exchange 2013 Management Pack
- Assisted with tuning of Exchange 2013 MP and Exchange 2013 MA.
- Assisted with overriding non-applicable alerts and validating existing critical errors and warnings.
- Migrated existing reports to SSRS/Power BI retrieving data from warehouse (EDW).
